Adult therapy

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.”

         Carl R. Rogers

Individual therapy

An initial clinical assessment takes place during the first session. Following the assessment, the treatment will be tailored based on the client’s presenting problem(s) and circumstances. People can seek therapy for various reasons that cause distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

Couples therapy

A clinical assessment will take place during the first session with both clients and thereafter individually if necessary. Couples therapy focus on the relationship between two partners who desire to improve the way they relate to each other and to generally address areas of concern (e.g., relationship/marital conflict, sexual problems, familial conflict, etc).

Family therapy

Family therapy is a type of therapy addressing the needs of the entire family as a whole system. There are numerous reasons as to why a family may be feeling strained or separated. If there has been a recent divorce, death or if the family has been seriously affected by crime or trauma, Carike will work with each individual and the family as a unit.
